Yorga, a friend and companion of historic, seminal artistic forays, encouraged by John John Purghezio to propose some unreleased material for me to sing, contacts me for a drink at the usual spot on Ponte Tazio. There's also talk of a split with Deviate Damaen. I reiterate, proposing to integrate their idea into a larger project I've been toying with for some time: a gathering of artists who have remained intact amidst the current epidemic of genuflections.

The phone calls begin, everyone makes their own; there's no shortage of hesitations, cancellations, and last-minute withdrawals; but the bravest ones persevere, and on April 20, 2024, the "ReDvci" project is announced to the world. Fatefully, on the following June 3, Yorga leaves this earthly existence. This album crowns the achievements of that epic celebration at Ponte Tazio, collecting the final legacy of Yorga's unrepeatable—and immortal—creative avant-gardism, and represents the commitment of all the names present to fearlessly proclaim themselves "survivors" of an unredeemed world that will always see us standing.

REDVCI: a gathering of free artists, contemptuous of the present but ageless; shorers of memory, but also pioneers of its most pindaric legacies.

At the unmistakable call of the creators, founders, and organizers, Yorga (formerly of Aborym - Boslide) and G/Ab Volgar (leader of Deviate Damaen), the most indomitable names in Italian extreme music have gathered around a stable and militant recording project, intent both on flaunting the most uncompromising idealism and on ignoring the censorship and blackmail inherent in the ongoing, vomit-like creative decline.

With such premises, it was not difficult to spot and count ourselves among upright spirits, in a pigsty of hunchbacks prone to algorithmic conformity and smiling beggars with outstretched palms begging for health passes and face powder inclusions.

An artistic and human sieve translated, in the space of a clinking of glasses, into a musical collective with an autarchic and consociative attitude, a multiplier of ideas, instruments, energies, and technical solutions, given a miserable musical environment reprogrammed to isolate the best and favor the mediocre. Cowardice will not be our strong point; arrogance, rather. And glory, above all.”
